What is CHI?

The National Association of Community Health Centers' (NACHC) Community Health Institute (CHI) and Expo is the largest and most important annual gathering of community health center managers, clinicians, employees, board members and leaders. Every aspect of the community health center movement is represented and fully-vested at the CHI, making it a significant networking opportunity.

CHI is a capacity-building opportunity unmatched anywhere else. Presented by and for professionals who truly understand the potential of community health centers and the challenges they face, NACHC’s CHI provides essential up-to-date information, training, technical assistance and access to knowledge not available elsewhere. Because NACHC continually monitors health care trends and issues, CHI programming always provides leading-edge strategies for community health center success.

NACHC's vision is that community health centers will strengthen and grow into providing a continuous, comprehensive, appropriate and affordable primary "health care home" for all Americans in need. NACHC is devoting its energies to preserve, strengthen and expand health centers, enabling them to serve 30 million people by 2015. The Community Health Institute is critical to achieving that goal.
